ASK

The Lord says, “I was ready to respond, but no one asked for help. I was ready to be found, but no one was looking for me. I said, “Here I am, here I am?” to as nation that did not call on my name.

Isaiah 65:1 NLT

Is it really that simple? And the answer is absolutely. To me, asking is simply spending time talking to God about what’s on my heart. He already knows anyway. He just wants that relationship with us that includes chatting with Him about everything. I’m not always asking for tangible things. What I desire is peace. What I need more is His supernatural strength to keep going. And what I crave most is His unconditional love. You’ll be surprised in all the beautiful ways He will answer.

You can ask anything in my name, and I will do it, so that the Son can bring glory to the Father.

John 14:13 NLT

You can pray anywhere about anything; sitting down or standing up but it hits a little different when you get on your knees and lay your heart bare before Him. I had one of those moments recently. And my prayer was simple, “God, please help me”. Sometimes I won’t utter a single word. He knows the desires of my heart, even the ones I won’t say. This morning on my way to work I decided to just listen to worship music. Every song that came on told me I was known, heard and loved. He answered me by showing me He heard my heart in a song by Jokia called “Amen.”

Mold me
Make me who I'm called to be
I wanna be used freely
I know that I'm not my own
Deliver me
Set me free from bondage
I’m really just a wannabe
I know that I'm not my own

That is my prayer!

Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking and the door will be opened to you.

Matthew 7:7 NLT

I want to encourage you too to ask your heavenly Father for whatever you need. Nothing is too big or too small. And after you pray, believe that you have it. (S.O.S) Soon or Suddenly that’s how I believe. Either way it’s coming. It may not be the way I planned; His way is always better. But don’t worry, it’s coming.

Don’t worry about anything; instead pray about everything. Tell God what you need and thank Him for all He has done.

Philippian 4:6

Thank you, Lord for hearing our prayers and for answering them immediately. In Jesus name.

AMEN!
