MY GIFT TO YOU…TRUTH.
“if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”
II Chronicles 7:14 NKJV
I know it’s been a while since I’ve written last. And to be honest, I’ve been a little all over the place. It’s the end of the year and if you’re like me, you’re trying to make sure the year ends with no crumbs left. And in all my busyness, God clearly stated “none of that matters”.
Sheeshhhhhh!
Here we go……
I was reminded that in all that I have written, I left out the most important part.
Repentance.
It means to feel or express sincere regret or remorse about one's wrongdoing or sin.
However, true repentance results in change. It changes the way you think and the way in which you act. You won’t want to do anything that grieves the Father in any way. So, every morning I wake up and repent of things I know I’ve done and of things I’ve done unknowingly to start my day.
“The time promised by God has come at last!” he announced. “The Kingdom of God is near! Repent of your sins and believe the Good News!”
Mark 1:15 NLT
I encourage everyone to have faith but how can you if you don’t first believe?
“If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved.”
Romans 10:9-10 NLT
My gift to you didn’t come from me.
“For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him.”
John 3:16-17 NLT
The reason for every season is the sacrifice that was made for you and me. My job is just to share His good news. And once you receive Him, it’s your job too.
