YOU CAN TRUST HIM
“For the word of God will never fail.”

Naturally, when someone proves that they can be trusted they have consistently showed up for you, had your back, came when you called, listened when you needed to vent and even financially came through for you when you needed it the most. And truth be told someone can do all those things and still manage to disappoint you. It happens and it’s not intentional but that one disappointment can affect how you trust others going forward.
Psalms 118:8 says, “It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man.”
This verse along with life in general helped take expectations away from people and to sow the same grace I’d hope for when I miss it. Most importantly it encourages me to put all my expectation and trust in God alone. Through reading His word and praying out His promises over my life, I’ve experienced time and time again God being true to His word. Every prayer answered, every small blessing, every door opened and even the ones He closed proves His word to be true. Every act of obedience produces a reward. Side note: all rewards aren’t monetary or tangible. Peace, joy and strength to keep going are priceless rewards and the ones I’m most grateful for.
Psalms 111:7 says, “All He does is good and just, and all His commandments are trustworthy.”
When you surrender your will to God and choose to live a life that glories Him, He WILL take care of you (Psalms 55:22), protect (Psalms 91:4) and provide (Phil 4:19) for you.
You can trust Him.
God is not a man, so he does not lie. He is not human, so He does not change His mind. Has He ever spoken and failed to act? Has He ever promised and not carried it through?
Numbers 23:19
I can answer emphatically………. NO!!
