GOD IS IN CONTROL

Well, this week I realized the only thing I have control over in this season of my life is my own actions and reactions. In fact, that’s all we really have control over. To be honest, I’m ok with that. God knows what is best for me and wants what’s best for me. He’s already gone before me and knows my beginning and my ending and all I have to do is trust Him. You see, all this wasn’t just about healing from a divorce. It wasn’t even about all that I have lost. It was more so about giving me something I never had: a personal relationship with the Father. I went to church, served on the praise team, loved people, loved God but didn’t really get to know Him on an intimate level.

But now!!!!! I thirst for new revelations of His Word. I knock, seek, and ask, and have learned to patiently wait. That’s not easy but He hasn’t failed me yet and I know He never will. I’ve witnessed His power and His love. So much so that He’s placed me on people’s heart to bless me at the very moment I needed it but only had the courage to ask God for it. He’s protected me from dangers that I couldn’t see but later were revealed. And He’s not done.

“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”

‭‭Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭28‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Because I know God for myself and I’m in His word to understand it for myself, no one can tell me God isn’t real or that His word isn’t true. It’s alive and so real to me. I pray that if you’ve been following my journey and I could impart one thing to you, that it would be to truly get to know the character and heart of our loving Father. When you do, you’ll be equipped to overcome any obstacles, endure any storm and walk in VICTORY! My hope is Him and forever will I trust Him.
